This isn't tool training

There's a particular kind of quiet that's settled over a lot of creative work lately. A hesitation. Somewhere between "should I be using this?" and "what does it mean if I do?"

I'm Shae, and I hold a different kind of space: one where AI isn't sold to you as a productivity hack, and it isn't treated as something to be feared into avoiding. It's held as a transition — one that deserves to be named, felt, and worked through, not just adopted or resisted.

The Bridging Sessions are a facilitated three-part process for those who sense that AI is already changing their field. They want to meet that change on their own terms — grounded in what they value, not driven by comparison or catch-up.

This isn't tool training. It's the conversation you have before the tools stop feeling optional.

Why this Work Matters

For many designers and creatives, AI isn’t just a new tool — it touches identity, craft, and a sense of what makes their contribution meaningful.

What looks like AI anxiety may feel closer

to grief: grief for certainty, for an imagined future, or for the belief that skill alone guarantees safety and worth.

This isn’t resistance to change.

It’s a legitimate response to a shift in something previously foundational — and it deserves to be held with the same care as any other identity transition.
